Access to many of the products sold on our platform has an expiration date. This period is determined by the creator. As such, not all products have lifetime access (access that doesn't expire). 

Access time will also depend on the type of product you purchased. Products can be:

• A one-time payment digital product.
• A subscription.

One-time payment digital products

A digital product for which you make a one-time payment for access. Unlike a subscription (with recurring charges), this type of purchase gives you access to the course without the need for renewal.

Paying for a single purchase in installments is not to be confused with subscriptions. Even if you pay for your purchase in installments, it won’t be considered a subscription.

In general, products that only require a single payment for access have lifetime access (i.e., no expiration date) - or there's a limit regarding access time.

Since access time is decided by the creator, we suggest contacting them directly if you want to know more about your product’s access time.

Subscriptions

Hotmart creators can sell digital products in subscription format. Subscriptions allow buyers to be charged on a recurring basis. There can be a specific number of recurrences, or they can be monthly, bimonthly, quarterly, semi-annual or annual recurring payments.

If a specific number of recurrences is not set, recurring payments are charged indefinitely until the purchaser cancels their subscription. In this case, users will have access to the course content for as long as they are making payments.

On the other hand, if the creator sets up a specific number of recurring payments, it's up to them whether or not to allow access to the content after the last payment on the subscription plan is paid.

Thus, access time can vary depending on the contracted plan. For example, for monthly payments, you'll have 30 days of access after each payment.

This also applies to monthly, bimonthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual plans.

• Monthly - 1 month of access until the next payment. 
• Bimonthly - 2 months of access until the next payment. 
• Quarterly - 3 months of access until the next payment. 
• Semi-annual- 6 months of access until the next payment. 
• Annual - 12 months of access until the next payment. 

Creators can also set a maximum number of recurring payments. After paying the specified number of charges, the subscription expires and your access to the product is blocked.

There are several possibilities when it comes to the access time of a subscription. Remember that subscription payments are charged automatically.
